The Road Back to You: An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery

by:  Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile

I first discovered the Enneagram back in 1999 when a friend shared a book by Riso-Hudson. I tried to slog through it but I think I was just to young and undisciplined to push through and understand it’s wisdom.

I read a reviewer write: “This book allows you to understand more about each of the Enneagram types, keeping you turning the pages long after you have read the chapter about yourself. Beginning with changes you can start making today, the wisdom of the Enneagram can help you get on the road that will take you further along into who you really are―leading you into places of spiritual discovery you would never have found on your own, and paving the way to the wiser, more compassionate person you want to become.”

I thought… “I’ll bite” and ordered the book. I’m glad I did. I’m not sure I’ll ever become fluent in this system like I am with MBTI but it was helpful to look at some of the ruts I have gotten stuck in.

Ignorance is bliss — except when it comes to self-awareness.
